Bring back these things
What is it do you see? My love? My faith? My hope? Impossible! You cannot see these things, you can only acquire or view the results of; through God’s existence within.

Greetings my brothers and sisters in Christ and welcome to Voices of Restoration!
Here, I hope to aid you in uncovering those hidden secrets, yesterday’s baggage, or shameful deeds that have kept you in bondage for so long. Why not assist in re-establishing someone's love, faith and hope in God through penning your success stories of redemption?
Testify and don’t be ashamed! [“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony … .” Revelations 12:11 NIV].
Become more than just a conqueror! [“Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.” Romans 8:37 NIV]
Rejoice in his goodness and restoring power! ["My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed." Psalms 71:23 NIV].
I just thank God for bestowing me the gift of writing and the passion to bring together a collective Word for those that need a little help in believing that He can and will restore us. It’s not an easy process; in fact, it’s a continued process. Take for instance a cup bearer to the king named Nehemiah, whose leadership served as one an example of (physical) restoration. He was a fierce leader who demanded the Jews lived up to their calling as the people of God and because of his leadership, he leisurely restored the walls and gates of Jerusalem. He contemplated the problem, he faced opposition, he confronted the people, he stopped to help the poor, and finally he corrected the situation. Nehemiah knew that in order to develop a near-perfect strategy in restoring the walls, he had to rely on God; he followed His process and timing [“So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of Elul, in fifty-two days. When all our enemies heard about this, all the surrounding nations were afraid and lost their self-confidence, because they realized that this work had been done with the help of our God.” Nehemiah 6:15,16. NIV].
Although the wall was completed in 52 days, the remainder of the work was not completed for six months during which he worked closely with Ezra [Nehemiah 8:1] in restoring not only the city, but the people's obedience to God. After leaving when he considered his work complete, Nehemiah returned once again to enforce the law of God, thereby persuing with the process of restoration.
In concluding with this powerful story, the wall was rebuilt, the Israelites had confessed their sins and Jerusalem was once again occupied with good leadership, grain and hope!
Just remember, getting over the hump in difficult times takes initiative. Obtaining restoration takes God and following God’s plan has its rewards!
As always, pray on your decision as you think about becoming a VOR contributor and possibly, restoring someone’s hope.
In worship and Adoration,
